Hello there,

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I am new to theosophy and I was trying to figure out the country and places that Mme. Blavatsky travelled to, in order to acquire all the knowledge she has, if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

This article gives you an idea of her travels before she founded the Theosophical Society:

Hi Maria, and welcome to the Forum.

Madame Blavatsky (or HPB, as we like to call her), traveled extensively, to Greece, Egypt, France, England, London, North America, Ceylon, Japan, Burma, India, and Tibet, from 1849 to 1874. She moved to New York in 1874. This information can be found in the book by Geoffrey Barborka called H. P. Blavatsky, Tibet and Tulku, pages 7-30.

You should also read the book From the Caves and Jungles of Hindostan by H. P. Blavatsky

and click on /files/6687/ in Base Directory --> 6687-h/ --> 6687-h.htm if the page doesn't load

And, when you can find the time, please tell us a little bit about yourself. Which part of the world are you writing from? What brought you to Theosophy?

There is a road, steep and thorny, beset with perils of every kind, but yet a road, and it leads to the very heart of the Universe. I can tell you how to find those who will show you the secret gateway that opens inwardly only, and closes fast behind the neophyte for evermore. H.P.Blavatsky

I wonder if you found what you were looking for, Maria?

I produced a very brief chronological summary of her life at:

Happy hunting!
