December 8th is Bodhi Day, the day tradition says Buddha achieved enlightenment. Perhaps we can use this day to ask ourselves how well we are doing on the Pilgrimage that H.P. Blavatsky described.

In Japan perhaps this is the day; but most of the rest of the Buddhist world use the Full Moon of Vaisaka (Wesak) in April or May for that blessed day.

I googled Bodhi Day, and I found that every December 8th reference was from a Japanese source. I had no idea it was a Japanese thing!
