Title: BlavatskyTradition.NET
Description: Major Online Books, Pamphlets

We've created a number of gateway pages that
provide convenient links, etc. to some of the
basic material on H.P. Blavatsky, the Mahatmas
and Theosophy. One such page is:
The Blavatsky Tradition
See:
http://blavatskytradition.netSee also:
http://blavatskybooks.netAll of this of course can also be accessed from
our homepage at Blavatsky Archives:

All these sub-divisions and re-arrangements are good Dan, but when will you have a searchable site?

Doesn't google have a feature where you can google-search one particular URL?

Hi Nick,
We added several weeks ago a Google search of our
site. Go to our homepage:
http://blavatskyarchives.comOn this page, look at the menu of choices in the far left hand column.
You should see a link titled:
Search Our Site Using Google.

That is helpful Dan, but it seems one has to change the URL to the exact non-blavatsky archives section, to search those other 777 parts of the site.

Dan,
Just to let you know, I had the same problem seaching your site.
For those of you out there in Internet-land, here is how it works. Merely type in a word you are searching for, a blank space, the word "site", a colon, and the URL, and Google will only search that site for that word. For example, if you go to Google and type this in:
Blavatsky site:http://theosophy-forum.com
it will only search that webpage for items containing "Blavatsky".
Wow, yesterday it was not working, and now it is. I typed:
darkness site:http://theosophy-forum.com
into Google, and it did a great job of only searching this Forum, and finding a lot of stuff on "darkness". (I chose the word darkness because I did not think I would get any hits, and I did!)
~~~
This is a very cool feature of Google.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this.....
Let me give you an example. On the Google page I directed you to that is in the far left column of my homepage, type in the searchline at the very type of that google page the following:
Emma Coulomb
When you search, you will find that the results give you 16 pages on
my website where this name is located.
Correct?
But I'm still not sure what you were trying to tell me!
Dan,
Maybe I was wrong; I cannot reproduce (unless I spend a lot of time now) the problem I had before. When I wanted something in one of your other sub-URLs that did not have "blavatskyarchives" in them, I could not find X or Y with the Google search bar.
But I just went into "theosophy.info" for "An Imaginary H.P.B. Library". Then I went to the Google search bar and put in that title and found it. But now it was under blavatskyarchives not theosophy.info.
So I suppose it does not matter what URL within your site might appear, the Googler will find it under blavatskyarchives anyway - right?
