Title: Hello I'm new

Yesspiritual - September 12, 2007 11:49 AM (GMT)
This is Yesspiritual and I just joined the forum last Sunday. I am 53 and I'm from Singapore and joined the local TS around Dec 05.

The Singapore Lodge was established by Col Olcott when he was on his way to Sri Lanka after forming TS in USA with HPB and WQ Judge, so it has been around a long long time but I'm also new there.

TS has made me spiritual. I was with Theos-Talk for a while but I hope to learn more here.

Thank you.

YS,

I am glad to see we now have a member from Singapore. (I used to live in Japan, and I speak Japanese.)

You said,

"...I hope to learn more here."

--> Boy, there sure are a lot of topics we could discuss. Which topics are you interested in? Theosophy is mainly a collection of concepts and technical terms. Which concepts are you interested in discussing? Are there any concepts you have trouble understanding? Are there any concepts that have had a great impact on you?

Nick the Pilot and all,

There's still many things I am trying to understand better (preferrably all at the same time :D ) such as Buddhism vs Theosophy, atman and annata (reading the thread in another board), J Krishnamurti and his teachings, quantum physics and consciousness and so on.

I will be posting questions here indeed!

Cheers

YS,

Atman and annata are important fundamental Theosophical concepts. We are waiting for your questions.
