We discussed the Big Bang theory in our Secret Doctrine discussion group, and how it relates to Theosophy. I remember thinking to myself that, if Fohat can be "turned off" when a Universal Pralaya begins, that could cause the entire universe to collapse upon itself, causing a Big Crunch. This would set up the next Big Bang, etc.

I remember reading in the Secret Doctrine that Mulaprakriti continues even during a Universal Pralaya, but Fohat does not. (This would fit my theory quite nicely.) Does anyone have the quote in the Secret Doctrine that says Mulaprakriti continues during a Universal Pralaya, but Fohat does not?
