Title: "Beginners" section eliminated

Nick the Pilot - January 12, 2007 12:31 PM (GMT)
Hi everybody!

The section called "Theosophy for beginners has been eliminated. It was felt that too much non-beginner information was ending up there. A new section called "Issues in Theosophy" has been added.

There still needs to be a Beginners or Introductory section. There was no need to eliminate the entire section, just weed out or transfer the threads you do not like.

I would suggest some Beginners' threads to restore, but the ones I started no longer exist in my control panel.

When will the Introductory section reappear?

I see that you have three pages of topics that you started. How many disappeared?

Since your are repeating yourself, I will just refer you to my first response in this thread.

If the problem was really "too much non-beginner information" - why not eliminate or move only those posts and/or topics? You also could have give some criteria for what "beginner" info is and what it is not, before eliminating the whole section.

I do not memorize how many or the content of my topics; that is why it is irritating to have them vaporized with no warning.

All of your topics were moved, not deleted. Let me know which topics you are unable to find.

You moved them, so tell me which topics you moved and to where.

Most of them were put in the Concepts section. 1~2 were put in the Blavatsky, Path, and Pasadena sections each.
