Title: A little bit about me

Nick the Pilot - October 17, 2005 11:43 AM (GMT)
I have been a Theosophist (Adyar) for many years, first starting out in the Tucson, Arizona group when it was run by the Van Thiel couple. (Does anyone remember them?) I have studied Blavatsky, Leadbeater, Besant, Jinarajadasa, etc., and I am now branching out into the other areas of Theosophy.

I am an airline pilot, being fortunate to do what I enjoy. (The really neat thing about having an autopilot is that I can turn it on, pull out some Theosophical literature, and read a few pages! Don't worry, I won't hit any mountains, Air Traffic Control watches out for me....)

I attended a Theosophy study group in the Los Angeles area for over a year, and I have recently begun attending the Secret Doctrine study group in San Diego. It has been a very humbling experience, when I see that most of the other members have *much more* knowledge than me. I can only hope that I can learn from them, and pass on what I already know.
