Good evening, All!
New at this forum, so as requested I say a few words about my self.
I live now in Melbourne in Australia, but my roots are in Scandinavia, and I have before lived both in Belgium and Germany. At my profession I am a teacher in history and religious studies and have worked both with young people and adults in Evening Schools. My main interest in Theosophy, besides to study the teachings of the Masters and their Messenger H.P. Blavatsky and her colleague William Q. Judge, are Theosophical history and source tracking. The writings of Dr. Franz Hartmann, Dr. Gustav Zander, E.T. Hargrove, Julia Ver Planck and Dr. Hübbe Schleiden interests and fascinates me also.
Other interests of mine are traveling, Freemasonry and European middle age history.
I am since several of years back active as lecturer and writher on Theosophical and related objects.
Best Regards,
CEK
CEK, welcome to the Forum.
I am glad to hear of your work with Theosophy over the years. I want to ask: What is source tracking?
It would be fun to hear the views of the authors you listed regarding Theosophy, as many of us are unfamiliar with those people.
I am particularly excited to hear about your experiences as a Theosophical lecturer and writer. Are there any particular topics you enjoy most to talk about? What types of things have you written about?
I would also like to be a Theosophical writer. I am presently plowing my way through the Stanzas of Dzyan. (I am presently half-way through the Stanzas in Book II of The Secret Doctrine.) I hope to put something together, so the average person can become easily familiar with the Stanzas. The Stanzas, as they exist in The Secret Doctrine today, are too difficult for the average person to get much good out of them.
