Additions/updates to the list of good sites -

Theosophy.org is not technically an offshoot of ULT although it does tend towards the fundamentals of Theosophy like ULT does. In any case that site is down pending some reorganization. The articles from HERMES Magazine that were at theosophy.org are now at TheosophyTrust.org. Another site to add to the list is Theosophy.us because it contains info on the annual inter-group Theosophical conferences. It still shows last year's info, but will be updated soon for 2006. Also there's TheosophySearch.net which is a meta search engine where you can do a single query across multiple sites, authors and books. (All links to results at theosphy.org are dead, of course, until that site is back up.) And while we're at it, we might also mention the huge library of source material at the Phoenix ULT site and the Theosophy Magazine archive at WisdomWorld.org.

Sites mentioned above:

waveformula,

Thank you for those updates. It is always good to hear of websites that are going through a change.

It sounds like you are quite familiar with Theosophy. I hope that you can join in some of the discussions around the Forum.

Since we are are on the topic of Theosophical sites, there is one I always like to plug, because it has been such a great source for me, and somebody did a lot of work to put it together. It is the Australian site's list of books online, listed by author:

Theosophical Society in Australia's Links to Theosophical Books Online
http://www.austheos.org.au/clibrary/bindex-0.html

Regarding theosophy.us and the 2006 conference, if you have any info on it, please share it with all of us. I have not heard anything yet, and I am very much looking forward to hearing if a physical location has finally been chosen.

Thank you for sharing the info on theosophysearch.net, as that is a site I have not heard of until now.

Good evening all.
I received an email yesterday announcing the 2006 conference. It will be hosted by the San Diego ULT group and held at a campground in the hills above the city (near Julian).

Here is the link:
Theosophical Gathering

Hope to see some of you there!

Namaste, Jon

Quick follow up - Theosophy.us has been updated with a link to the site mentioned above. There's also a note there about a conference that may happen in Phoenix, and the 2005 conference info has been archived.

I also received the e-mail. Who will be staying in one of the teepees, sleeping on a cot...?

Might be hot in SD in August - would the AC be a must??

I'd also like to know if there is a program - at least a theme, maybe an idea of who might be doing presentations.

Admin note:

These posts (concerning the 2006 Conference) have been copied to the 2006 Conference Thread. Please continue to add further Conference posts there.

I see that Nicolas has mentioned our webpage listing Theosophical sites, material, etc.

This same webpage is easily accessible at:

http://theosophylinks.net

Anyone in the world can simply type in their browser in the
URL address field at the top:

theosophylinks.net

then hit the "enter" button and there you are!

Also our main site: http://blavatskyarchives.com has major webpages listing hundreds of different books, articles, materials, etc. See the FAR LEFT column of our blavatskyarchives.com page for the different categories.

Hope this helps.

Daniel
